Over so many years of trial and error as well as endless research, I have come to see how intimately connected we all are. How we cannot heal the body without addressing the mind, vice versa. How by switching up my daily dietary habits from that of a colonized Puerto Rican diet paired with the Standard American Diet, to a Plant Based way of eating- I could heal myself from dis-ease. How reclaiming my mind and balancing my emotions has helped me heal trauma and overcome my old stories and limiting belief systems.


I began my Holistic Healing journey going on seven years ago now. When I first began I was extremely sick and was looking for a natural solution to the 12+ acute and chronic illnesses that I was struggling with. I was seeing my primary care physician and three specialists for two years, and none were able to help me heal myself and the health issues continued to pile on.

It wasn’t until they recommended surgery to open my nasal passageway to drain excess mucus, I was on medication to induce my period and I was wearing a telemetry monitor to check on my irregular heart rhythm, that I decided enough was enough.

I went home, got to googling and discovered the healing benefits of Raw Foods and a Whole Food, Plant Based way of eating. I ordered all of the books that I could and stayed up for weeks on end reading all that I could. Then the day came that I began my Plant Based Raw Food Fast. Fast forward two weeks into my 30 day fast, and all of my symptoms were gone and so were my illnesses. I’ve yet to take any medications since.   • Irregular Menstrual Cycle

  • Cystic Acne

  • Respiratory Infections

  • Sinus Infections

  • Heart Palpitations

  • Fainting Spells

  • Candida Overgrowth

  • Red, Painful Nodules on my legs

  • Extreme Mental Fogginess and Fatigue

  • I was severely underweight and couldn’t gain weight to save my life

These are some of the illnesses that I was struggling with. This was my catalyst and my WHY for making this lifestyle change. Was it hard at times? You know it. Was it worth it? Considering that I haven’t been sick since… YES.

Since then I have become a Plant Based Nutritionist, Certified in Fitness Training and Neurobiology Studies and have attended Conferences/Webinars all about Holistic Healing, Mental Health and Plant Based Nutrition Science. I have also had the immense pleasure of hosting a number of corporate and university workshops. As well as coaching 100+ women back to optimal, mind and body health.

When we heal ourselves, we heal our families and we heal our communities. We heal the planet.
